Appointments

Information:

All patients are seen by appointment and are for one person only. A number of appointments can be pre booked in advance.

Contact us with Accurx

You can contact a doctor, nurse or other healthcare professional online using a website called Accurx.

Use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App) or Systmonline to book an appointment.

Urgent appointments

All urgent on the day appointments will be available in the morning from 8am. Once we have reached capacity, we will be able to signpost you to an appropriate alternative medical service.

Routine appointments

Routine telephone and face to face appointments with a nurse and our pharmacist can be booked in advance. We also have a online triage system through our website which will provide further flexibility in contacting the practice to book GP appointments.

Cancelling or changing an appointment

To cancel your appointment:

Please be advised, if you cancel your appointment within 1 hour of the booked time, this will go down as a did not attend.  Please cancel your appointment as early as possible. 

If you need help when we are closed

If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

If you need help with your appointment

Please tell us:

  • if there’s a specific doctor, nurse or other health professional you would prefer to respond
  • if you would prefer to consult with the doctor or nurse by phone, face-to-face, by video call or by text or email
  • if you need an interpreter
  • if you have any other access or communication needs

Home visits

In your Accurx appointment request, please clearly state that you are requesting a home visit.  If agreed, the GP will call you prior to visiting. Therefore, we will need to know the best contact number for you. 

You may only request a home visit if you are housebound.

All requested must be made before 10:30am.
