INFORMATION FOR PATIENTS
During this COVID-19 pandemic we ask for your understanding, support and remain calm. We are open and we will be conducting consultations by telephone and only booked appointments to be seen face to face after indicated. When attending the surgery please wear a face mask or face covering. Please expect all our staff to ask you for increased information when you request an appointment.
Please DO NOT come to the surgery for any reason , if you have ANY symptoms of; fever, cough or sore throat, even if very mild. If you haven't already please can you request which pharmacy you would like your medication sent to as we would like to avoid as much face to face contact as possible to reduce the spread of the virus. We would like to reassure you that we are maintaining strict infection control and are working very hard to provide essential general practice services. This is to protect you all and particularly our most vulnerable patients. Please follow the government and NHS guidelines :Self-Isolate for 7 days if you have a fever >37.8 or a new continuous cough. POSSIBLE CERVICAL SCREENING TEXT MESSAGING SCAM
We have received reports today of a possible scam. Some women are being contacted by text message claiming to be from the call and recall service to advise they are overdue for screening. The message asks them to call a mobile number and provide personal details. These messages are not from the NHS Cervical Screening Programme and therefore DO NOT RESPOND to such a message.
FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE WE HAVE HAD TO DISABLE ALL ONLINE BOOKING APPOINTMENTS DUE TO THE SITUATION WITH THE CORONAVIRUS. PLEASE BEAR WITH US DURING THIS PERIOD.
