INFORMATION FOR PATIENTS

During this COVID-19 pandemic we ask for your understanding, support and remain calm.  From lunchtime today 19/03/2020 the surgery will be closing the doors and we will be conducting consultations by telephone and only booked appointments to be seen face to face after indicated.  Please support us by considering your need to request appointments and bear with us as we make changes to the appointment system.  Please expect all our staff to ask you for increased information when you request an appointment. 

Please DO NOT come to the surgery for any reason , if you have ANY symptoms of; fever, cough or sore throat, even if very mild.  If you haven't already please can you request which pharmacy you would like your medication sent to as we would like to avoid as much face to face contact as possible to reduce the spread of the virus.  We would like to reassure you that we are maintaining strict infection control and are working very hard to provide essential general practice services.  This is to protect you all and particularly our most vulnerable patients. Please follow the government and NHS guidelines :Self-Isolate for 7 days if you have a fever >37.8 or a new continuous cough.  The guidance is being updated regularly please keep checking the national websites and https://www.westfieldroadsurgery.co.uk

The surgery will be closed for (PLT) Protected Learning Time from 1.30pm on Wednesday 22nd April 2020 and DOES NOT OPEN AGAIN UNTIL 8.30am the following day. If you require medical advice during this time please telephone 111
